Only frozen donor sperm,quarantined for at least 180 days, is used at New Life Specialized Medical Center of Gynecology in order to eliminate the risk of transmitting infectious diseases (e.g. HIV, hepatitis B). All approved donors are young men with very good quality sperm.

The donor sperm recipient can chose from this carefully selected pool of donors based on information about their physical characteristics, education, hobbies and interests, which is listed in every donor’s personal profile.

The cryopreserved (frozen) donor sperm sample is thawed (defrosted) on the day of the egg retrieval procedure.
