Dr Dimitar Tanev

Dr Dimitar Tanev is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with more than 35 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of gynaecological and reproductive conditions.

He graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1987 and obtained his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1992 at the National Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology “Maichin Dom” in Sofia, one of Bulgaria’s most renowned training institutions.

Throughout his career, Dr Tanev has worked in both hospital and outpatient settings, gaining extensive practical experience in routine gynaecological care as well as the management of complex reproductive health issues. His professional background includes positions at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the Regional Hospital in Asenovgrad, MBAL Plovdiv, including a specialised infertility unit, as well as several outpatient medical centres in Plovdiv.

Dr Tanev has been part of the New Life Clinic team in Plovdiv since the clinic’s establishment, providing consultations and examinations. He also serves as a medical consultant at New Life Nia Med in Stara Zagora, supporting the team with expert assessments and professional guidance.
