Professional Biography
Dr Hristo Yordanov is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with more than 8 years of medical experience and a professional focus on maternal-fetal medicine and advanced prenatal diagnostics.
He graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv, where he obtained his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. His professional interests are focused on modern methods of pregnancy monitoring and the early diagnosis of fetal abnormalities. He has completed postgraduate training in reproductive health and maternal-fetal medicine through The Fetal Medicine Foundation.
Dr Yordanov is a licensed Fetal Medicine Consultant accredited by The Fetal Medicine Foundation and the London School of Ultrasound. His qualifications allow him to perform highly specialised examinations, including combined screening for chromosomal abnormalities and preeclampsia, fetal morphology scans, and preterm birth screening.
His professional experience includes positions at Dr Sergey Rostovtsev Hospital in Momchilgrad, Haskovo Medical Centre and Hospital, the St. Elisabeth Clinical Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Plovdiv, and Selena Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital, where he performs both normal and operative deliveries as well as gynaecological procedures.
Currently, he is part of the specialist teams at Dr Minev Medical Centre and New Life Clinic in Plovdiv.
He is fluent in English and German.
