Professional Biography
Dr Miloslav Valchev is a specialist in Paediatrics and Neonatology with more than 30 years of medical experience in the care of newborns, infants, and children.
He graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1993 and obtained his specialty in Paediatrics in 2000. His entire professional career has been dedicated to children’s health, during which he has gained extensive clinical experience in both outpatient and hospital care.
Dr Valchev began his career as a community paediatrician in Sopot, building a strong foundation in child development monitoring. Between 1997 and 2006, he worked as a neonatologist in the Vesela Obstetrics Department at St Mina Hospital in Plovdiv, where he developed extensive expertise in newborn care.
He later continued his professional development at Thorax Specialized Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Plovdiv. Currently, he is a member of the Neonatology Department at UMHAT Pulmed and part of the team at New Life Clinic.
His clinical practice focuses on monitoring children’s physical and neuropsychological development, as well as the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of childhood diseases from birth to 18 years of age.
